Inktober is an event started by Jake Parker and celebrated by artists worldwide. Artists are tasked with making an ink drawing every day in October (following specific daily prompts) and sharing it under the hashtag #inktober.
I’ve tried and failed a few times in the past, so this year I tried something different. I decided to combine two prompts into one drawing (allowing me an every-other-day deadline) and using that pair of words to tell a one-frame micro story. I also decided to do all these on one sheet, allowing me to stay small. In the end, I think these limitations conjured up a really cool collection of tiny illustrations.
